Ethan’s Glen is managed by the Ethan’s Glen Homeowners Association. Each of the 47 units has one vote. The covenants are here* in a version that is searchable. A scanned copy as filed with the Knox County Register of Deeds is here*
The development is a non-profit corporation governed under By-laws* established at the same time, and last modified in 1993.
The homeowners elect a President, Vice President, and Board of Directors who meet monthly.
Ethan’s Glen is managed by volunteers. Residents participate in the organization and management of the community in a number of ways. Standing committees include Landscaping, Architecture Control, Pool, and Social. The high level of resident participation in day-to-day responsibilities enables the Association to function without a professional manager, which keeps the monthly maintenance fee low, and also enhances the feeling of “community” in the neighborhood.
